I was planning on recounting old stories from Taiwan, posting pictures with comments... but I haven't done it, and I probably won't do it. Blogging is time consuming and time... is precious. But without Taiwan I'm not interested in blogging, I started it so that my family and friends could check on me if they wondered what I was doing, and so that I could go back years or months later and read them myself, read about things that I'd forgotten.
marcdurham.com will still be up, and I will probably still have the same format, at least for awhile. But instead of stories about my adventures in Asia you'll see hastily written notes and links to web pages, Wikipedia entries, and links to download things like drivers and Linux software. Before I starting blogging about Taiwan that's all this page was, a collection of notes and bookmarks mostly intended for myself, or I might tell someone to look at some funny video I had linked to on my web page, they didn't have to remember the name of the video, just marcdurham.com. So it's back to that, at least until I travel far away again, you never know.
But I wanted to condense all I've typed into something slightly more concrete, I might even print it, a chronological collection of all my blog entries.
marcdurham.com/taiwan
So there it is, I printed it to a PDF file and it prints out as 156 pages. But I'm going to reformat it if I can so it will print out a little nicer. I might even have it bound at blurb.com so I can put it in my book case and read it whenever I miss Taiwan. If you click it it will take a few minutes for your web browser to digest, it's a few megabytes with the pictures embedded in it.
