At work we just ordered a Xerox Phaser 8500N It looks like it'll be pretty cool, it uses solid ink, almost like big crayons that slide into these tubes in the front. It's first page comes out in 6 seconds, and you can load the solid ink sticks while it's printing. I wanted the duplex unit (8500DN) but I got shot down, it was $200 more. The crazy thing is the price, you pay $899 for the 8500N, but you get a $400 rebate, so it ends up only costing $500. I'm guessing they want these solid ink printers to become more popular, by word of mouth. We'll see. I'll try to remember to comment on it after I get it.
Every Windows Vista computer will, or can, have a IPv6 domain name. That would be very handy for trying to fix somebody's computer over the phone. I guess instead of using DNS it'll use PNRP, see this Wikipedia article.
